The popular ladies-only wellness area renowned throughout the city is still open to women who are not staying at the hotel but looking for a little relaxation.
During the summer and winter months, yoga classes are also held regularly on our beautiful roof terrace or in our cozy relaxation room.

Wondering how we ensure social, environmental and economic sustainability at the Alma? Our social integration measures create jobs for women with disabilities.
For breakfast, we serve regional, organic and fair trade products. And we’ve deliberately opted to go without certain things. Curious to learn more?
Events in the Salon Rosengarten
Our Salon Rosengarten is private and inviting. Those not staying at the hotel can also rent the space. It’s perfect for organising family celebrations. The salon is suitable for meetings, small lectures or workshops, private dinners, press conferences or coaching for up to eight people. On request, we can also provide you with a presentation screen. And, as the name suggests, the room’s window opens out to our beautiful rose garden.

For us, balance isn’t just a trend, it’s a requirement. With its many feel-good areas, the Alma Hotel offers a variety of places for you to retreat to and have a natter – what do you fancy doing?
Rose Garden
Venture down the well-trodden stone steps right behind the hotel to visit this little oasis in the city. Or carry on to the castle gardens.
In the summer, the fragrant scent of the queen of flowers pervades here, while an overgrown arbour shields you from everyday noise.

Veranda
Anyone familiar with the Alma Hotel of the past will immediately notice that the building has been given a new facelift and now looks out onto Mainaustrasse with open eyes. The new wooden veranda gives the hotel a spacious entrance and another place for guests to enjoy breakfast, coffee or an aperitif. And it’s sure to get you in the mood for a leisurely stroll.
Roof Terrace
Enjoy a glass of prosecco over the rooftops of Zurich and gaze out over the city, lake and mountains. The terrace is furnished with seating areas and loungers and decorated lovingly with greenery. Visitors to the wellness area will find a ladies-only area. The large pergola provides shade in the height of summer. Chin-chin!
Lobby with Guest Kitchen and Honesty Bar
The lobby functions as a living room for our guests. Guests can and should occupy almost the entire mezzanine floor, whether for breakfast, a cappuccino after a stroll through the city or for a homemade dinner with the family, all prepared in the fully equipped kitchen, which we open to all Alma guests between 11 am and 10 pm.
At the honesty bar we provide Zurich water, tea and coffee free of charge at any time. Why not also fill up a glass with soft drinks from local producers, organic and sparkling wines or with selected spirits? We don’t have the classic minibar and we’re sure that nobody will miss it with this range on offer to you.
